How to Nurture Love and Relationship

Can you find love without relationship or relationship without love? It all boils down to what you are looking for, or what you are ready to give. You have to be willing to nurture love. You have to be willing to nurture relationship. As the saying goes, do unto others as you'd like done unto you. If we take a deeper look inside love and relationship, we can see that there are a few components or rules of engagements, if you prefer, that one has to follow in order to have lasting and enjoyable love and relationship. Laying the foundation is a must in order to have a long-lasting relationship. After that, we can look at compatibility or incompatibility, good communication, ability to share, etc. What is the definition of a good relationship? It is one based on trust, love, and faith, self-control and sharing. When one partner is giving more than the other one, this is not love. One is taking advantage of the other. When one partner trusts that his or her partner is faithful and trustworthy while the partner is out spreading it around like there is no tomorrow then someone is bound to get hurt. Friendship is commitment between two or more people, and often friends join in activities. Friendship should also be about having fun together, entertain one another, and good communication. True friends will go the extra mile for the sake of the relationship. Friends will not interfere with each otherfs life, unless the friend sees the need to address an issue that is causing the friend harm, or about to cause him/her harm. Friends that develop into serious intimate relationships, often work through somekind of arrangement regardless of the storms laid before them. Friendship before intimacy is the way to go, since the two have an overview of the others behaviors, habits, personality, skills, et cetera. Mistakes are a part of life, and we should all learn from our mistakes. When a person learns from their mistakes, it illustrates loyalty and commitment. Mistakes made in relationship can help us appreciate humanity, love as well as life itself. A good relationships include giving and taking. When one partner is giving more than the other is, the result of that will be failure. Giving includes intimacy, caring, sharing, understanding et cetera. When two people share they are giving the best of each other, thus the relationship often leads to love. Giving is one of the elements that compose love. Love is the ultimate of it all. Wisdom of Marriage and Family

The purpose of marriage is to unify the world of heart and to perfect the love of man and woman. Therefore, to say that you have married is to proclaim that you will prove this. If you realized the perfection of heart through married life, then we can say that you have realized the ideal of a family..... Marriage is not for your own sake. If you have self-centered marriage, your whole family will be destroyed. To want to live a happy life by getting married self-centerely is just a one-night dream. The problem is the future.

Untiring Love

This is a true story that happened in Japan . In order to renovate the house, someone in Japan tears open the wall. Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls. When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard stuck there because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet. He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when he checked the nail, it was nailed 10 years ago when the house was first built. What happened? The lizard has survived in such position for 10 years! In a dark wall partition for 10 years without moving, it is impossible and mind boggling. Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 10 years without moving a single step--since its foot was nailed! So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has been doing, and what and how it has been eating. Later, not knowing from where it came, appears another lizard, with food in its mouth. Ahh! He was stunned and touched deeply. For the lizard that was stuck by nail, another lizard has been feeding it for the past 10 years... Such love, such a beautiful love! Such love happened even with this tiny creature ... What can love do? It can do wonders! Love can do miracles! Imagine? it has been doing that untiringly for 10 long years, without giving up hope on its partner. Imagine what a small creature can do that a creature blessed with a brilliant mind can't. I was touched when I heard this story and started wondering about relationships between family members, friends, lovers, brothers, sisters. As information and communication technology advances, our access to information becomes faster and faster. But the distance between human beings . . . is it getting closer as well? I ask you...please never abandon your loved ones. LOVE is a gift, take it, let it grow. LOVE is a sign we should wear, let it show. LOVE is an act, do it, let it go. Bring the Romance Home The key to making your home a romantic getaway is to treat it like a vacation. Well, okay, without the packing. You have to unplug your phone and let your friends and family know you are on vacation. Once your "at home" vacation starts, here are some things you may want to include to add to the experience: -go to the library or a bookstore, pick out a book you both like, and read it out loud to each other while sitting on your back porch, or by the fireplace. -give one another a massage while listening to soothing music. -take a romantic walk to watch the sunset. -rent a documentary about a foreign city you always wanted to visit, like Florence, and afterwards have dinner at a local restaurant that serves the cuisine you would find in that city. -watch a romantic movie and fall asleep in each other's arms. Remember, a relationship sometimes needs a little tending to help keep it romantic. A romantic getaway helps. You can also keep the romance alive after your getaway by occasionally scheduling a gdate nighth with one another where you go to a special restaurant, watch the sunset or docwhatever.
